NINE women remain in the fight for Gerry Turner's heart on The Golden Bachelor after one contestant left in a devastating exit - and fans are not happy.
Joan went on to get a rose during her romantic one-on-one date, but her happiness was short-lived as a family emergency caused her to leave the show in a devastating exit.
Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to speculate the real reason behind Joan's exit, many blaming her daughter after a half-aired phone call.
One person said: "Ew. You could tell Joan’s daughter was really b******g at her on the phone and that’s why the producers didn’t air her voice. Does her daughter not have a partner? Other family? Seems real selfish and I don’t think Joan wanted to go home."
"Sorry, but I can’t believe Joan is leaving," another fan wrote. "Unless her daughter is in a very bad way, she should be fine and needs to let her mom [pursue] happiness again. I can’t imagine impeding my mom this way."

Theresa broke into tears and shared that she "feels horrible" as Kathy went off.

Gerry and Ellen end their date on a hot air balloon - and Gerry gives Ellen a rose!
"She could be the one that I spend the rest of my life with," Gerry says.
Ellen gets Pretty Woman date
Fashion designer Michael Costello helps Ellen decide what gorgeous gown and jewelry she'll wear on her one-on-one with Gerry.
"Tonight is going to be an amazing date," Ellen said.
"And Gerry's going to make it complete."
Gerry sobs as Joan leaves
As he hears the heartbreaking news, Gerry says: "I can't tell you how disappointed I am."
He says that he understands her decision, but that he was so happy after their date.

"I felt like she was just talking to me and no one else was around," Gerry says to the other judges.
Talents abound
The women of the Golden Bachelor have no shortage of talent as they show off for Gerry Turner tonight.
Sondra did a standup routine, Susan showed off her karate skills, Faith played guitar and sang, and Kathy did push-ups.
Nancy caught whipped cream in her mouth, while April gave a motivational speech - before Leslie did a dance routine that ended with a lap dance for Gerry in a shocking moment!

Meet Kaitlyn Bristowe
Kaitlyn Bristowe, 38, rose to fame in 2015 as a contestant on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor.
Bristowe then became the star of season 11 of The Bachelorette, along with her co-star, Britt Nilsson.
In 2020, Bristowe was a contestant on Season 29 of Dancing With The Stars with dance partner Artem Chigvinstev. The duo were declared the winners of that season.
Kaitlyn will make a special appearance on tonight's episode of The Golden Bachelor as she helps host the group date's talent contest.

During last week’s episode of The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner took Theresa Nist on a first date to an old-school diner where they split a milkshake and fries.
